DAVID A. BREITZMAN, age 64, of Chili, WI, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 with his loving wife by his side. A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of David on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Chili Fremont Fire & Rescue Community Center, in Chili, starting at 1pm.
David Allan Breitzman was born on January 20, 1961 in New London, WI, to Louis B. and Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Pappenfus) Breitzman, and was raised and received his education in Weyauwega. He was united in marriage to RhondaLee A. McDermond (Richter) on May 22, 1999 in Pittsville, WI. After completing his schooling, David worked as a farmhand for a few years before becoming a truck driver. Over the years, he drove for several trucking companies, including; Lynn Dairy in Granton, WI, VitaPlus in Loyal, WI, Roehl Transport in Marshfield, WI, and Iggys Trucking in Pittsville, WI. After retiring in 2019 due to his health, they resided in Chili until his passing.
He had many interests, but especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, his dogs, shooting pool, camping and fishing.
David will be dearly missed by his wife, RhondaLee, of Chili; three daughters: Lindsay Breitzman (fiancé Jason Ayres) of Waupaca, WI, Ashlay (Aaron) Crist of Weyauwega, WI, Alyson Breitzman of Waupaca, WI; his step-son, Kevin McDermond, and his step-daughter, Kristina (Justin) Pyka, both of Neillsville; 10 grandchildren: Dalton, Joseph, Daylin, Ethan, Weston, Christopher, Alexander, Kylar, Annalyse and Amber; two great-grandchildren: Dimitri and Audrey; his sister-in-law, Jan Breitzman of Pittsville, WI; two nephews: Jameson and Stephen Breitzman; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers: James, William, Gene, and Donald Breitzman.
