David was born to Edward Elzie Bryant and Dwanda Gayle McGlothlin Bryant on March 2, 1981, and passed away in his home on September 21, 2025, in Monroe, LA, surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was an active member of First Baptist Church Sterlington. David led the David Bryant Team at Better Homes and Gardens Realty and was a partner in several construction business ventures. He loved the Sterlington community and was always looking for ways to serve and improve the place he called home. He served as the Planning and Zoning Board Chair for Sterlington and was a devoted Panther fan. That turnover was often “brought to us by David Bryant, your local Sterlington Realtor!” Go Panthers!
Although David was dedicated to his career, he always prioritized his family. He never hesitated to adjust his schedule to be with them, showering them with love, time, and affection. Of all the roles he played in life, his favorite was that of husband and daddy. To know David was to know his outstanding character—he was goal-oriented and career-driven, but above all, he had the heart of a servant and a presence that was larger than life. The outpouring of love his family has experienced in recent days is a testament to the strong friendships he formed through his work and his community. He had so many dreams, plans, and adventures that feel almost impossible to conquer without him. Our family trusts that God’s plans are greater and that in time we will pursue all David’s dreams in his honor and memory.
David was preceded in death by his father, Edward Elzie Bryant.
