David Allen Burk

David Allen Burk, age 30, a resident of Monette, AR, formerly of Stanton, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Martin officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN. 

 

David was born on September 21, 1993, in Brownsville, TN to Christopher Lynn Burk and Shannon Martin Webb. He worked as the lead ginner at the Monette Co-op. He loved being outdoors and loved his family.  He was a comedian at heart and never met a stranger. He was a former firefighter with the Brownsville Fire Department.  

 

He is survived by his father, Lynn Burk of Stanton, TN; his mother, Shannon Webb (Gary) of Stanton, TN; two sons, Thomas Burk and Jeremiah Burk, both of Brownsville, TN; one daughter, Gracey Burk of Brownsville, TN; his grandparents, Chris Burk, Lois Burk, Pat Martin, and Robert Webb, all of Stanton, TN; four brothers, Corey Burk, Jason Burk (Haylee), Cayden Burk and Chase Burk; one sister, Sarah Roberson (Bryan); as well as three nieces and two nephews.  

Memorials may be given to Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network, 1321 Murfreesboro Pike, #155, Nashville, TN 37217. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
