David Burleyson Obituary
David Lynn Burleyson, 73, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Friday, August 11, 2023 at Atrium-Cabarrus.
Memorial service will be 6pm Friday, August 18 at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, officiated by Rev. Chris Wallace. The family will receive friends beginning at 5pm.
Lynn was born March 19, 1950 in Cabarrus County, son of the late Clon Burleyson and Blanna Ballard Burleyson. Lynn enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob, sister, Jenny and stepson Tommy.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn McEachern Burleyson; son Matthew Burleyson and wife Lisa; grandson Landon.
Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church, PO Box 147, Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124.
