David John Burrie Sr., 78, of Suamico, entered into eternal life peacefully on December 23, 2023.
He was born on July 5, 1945 to Benjamin and Loretta (Phillips) Burrie in Waukesha. He married the love of his life, Sandra Frankowski, on June 6, 1964 and together they raised four beautiful children in Green Bay. He enjoyed camping, fishing and the Packers. He loved his grandkids and great-grandkids, especially making special memories with his family. He was in Boy Scouts for many years and was proud to be a Boy Scout Master. Before his illness, he and Sandra would attend church together. Dave and Sandy were always spending precious time together creating memories with their family and traveling. He adored his wife very much.
Dave was a dedicated hard working man. He took pride in many home improvements and his job as a Heating & Cooling Technician for Wesley Heating & Air Conditioning where he worked for over 20 years. Prior to his job there, he worked at Halron Oil for many years.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Sandra; four children: Sheryl (Jim) Cavin, David Burrie, Jr., Brenda (Rod) Brock and Christine (Kyle) Ondik; four grandchildren: Cady (David Villwock) and Nicole Cavin, Belinda Brock and Angelynn Frewerd; and two great-grandchildren, Maylene and Alek Villwock. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law, Tammy Sheppard-Burrie; two brothers, Bill Burrie and Ben Burrie Sr; and his mother-in-law, Marie Frankowski.
Memorials are suggested to the Billy Graham Association.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Moments Hospice and the staff at Alpha Senior Concepts.
