David was a cherished husband to his late wife, Nora Cabrales, whose memory remains a beacon in the hearts of those who knew them. Together, they crafted a life filled with joy, laughter, and shared dreams, leaving an indelible mark on the family they nurtured. David also grieved the loss of his beloved sister, Monica Cabrales, and carried the cherished memories of his parents, Antonio and Ramona Cabrales, with him throughout his life.
He leaves behind a loving family that celebrates his legacy each day. His brothers and sisters—Ignacio Cabrales, Connie Samaniego (Junior), Terrell Cabrales, Veronica Perez (Bobby), Tony (Sonya), and Gloria Cabrales—will carry his spirit forward, sharing stories and laughter that will echo through generations. The next chapter of his family's journey includes his children, Alyson Villa and Brian Cabrales (Pavlova), whose lives are adorned with the values he held dear.
As a grandfather, David reveled in the joy brought by his grandchildren's' laughter. Brianna, Tatiana, Giovana, Francisco, Orion, Zian, and Lion were beacons of light in his life, and their memories will forever be intertwined with his in the stories they share. On top of that, his great-grandchildren—Zyliana, Donovan, and Natalie—were the twinkling stars that illuminated his later years, rekindling the wonder of youth within him.
David's upcoming services will reflect the love and respect that those around him hold dear. A visitation will take place on November 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale, AZ, where friends and family will gather to honor his life. Following this, a graveside service will be observed at Holy Cross Cemetery, commencing at 11:30 AM, where David's journey will be celebrated one last time.
In the symphony of life, David Martinez Cabrales played his notes with grace, humor, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones. His legacy—a rich blend of love, laughter, and connection—will resonate in the hearts of those who cherished him. As he takes his final rest, he leaves behind not just memories, but a family bound by love, ready to carry his spirit into a future filled with hope and remembrance.
