Bill was born on June 22, 1952 to William and Jeanne Williams and was the third child of the family living in Middleton, Wisconsin.
Bill was a devoted husband to Jan, and their marriage of 30 years was a central source of strength and joy in his life.
Bill had a lifelong love of sports. Whether watching a Suns or ASU game, discussing teams and players, or simply enjoying the camaraderie that sports bring, it was one of the great pleasures of his life and the way he connected with friends and family alike. He was an avid golfer and runner.

He is survived by his wife Jan, brothers Quinn and Craig Williams and his sister Jan Frank, all currently living in Phoenix.
