It is with great sadness that the family of A. J. Williams announces his passing. A. J. Williams was born on March 10, 1937, and passed away on January 31, 2026, at Memorial Hospital of Biloxi. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a veteran who served his country with honor. He carried that same sense of duty, resilience, and quiet strength throughout his life.

A. J. was a man who valued family above all else. He shared 65 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Myra Williams, and took great pride in his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Myra Williams; his children, Greg Williams (Melissa), Wanda Suggs, and Chris Williams (Tabitha); and his cherished grandchildren: Brooklyn Williams, Catelyn Williams, Sierra Courtney, Jackson Williams, Allison Williams, and Carly Williams.

In addition to his devotion to family, A. J. was a hardworking and respected professional. He was a former employee of Ingalls Shipbuilding, where he fulfilled a 25-year career as a shipfitter. His craftsmanship, dedication, and strong work ethic were a source of pride throughout his working life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Minnie Williams of Mize; his brothers, Troy Williams and Harold Williams; and his sisters, Helen Corvaia, Daisy Green, and Pansy Mulkey.

Those who knew A. J. will remember his dedication, strength, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the deep love shared by those fortunate enough to know him. His watch has ended, but his legacy sails on. May he rest in calm seas and eternal peace.

Services are to be scheduled at a later date. Interment will be held at the Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.
