Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home - Ocean SpringsNancy Elaine Morin (Loomis), age 75, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on February 9, 2026.
She was born on February 27, 1950, in Penn Yan, New York to Paul Loomis and Dorothy Loomis, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Dottie Ely and Janet Conrad.
Nancy was the beloved wife of Richard Morin and a devoted mother to Kristopher (Deena) Morin, Jennifer Crump (Tim Cusick). She was a proud grandmother to Jonathan Morin (Lexi), James Morin, and Katelyn Haab, and great-grandmother to Xander, Jocelynn, Bostyn, and the late Maylee, whom she now joins in eternal rest. Her family was the center of her world, and she loved each of them with a big, generous heart.
She was a proud, proud veteran and passionate about everything she did. Whether she was cooking, sewing, quilting, or creating something beautiful with her hands, she gave it her whole heart. She was incredibly creative and seemed to be good at anything she touched. She loved her Red Hats group and was deeply involved in volunteer work with the VFW, where she lovingly made hats, blankets, and scarves for the veterans and homeless. Serving others brought her true joy.
A member of First Baptist Church in Vancleave, where she was a member of the choir until her decline, Nancy lived out her faith through action. She was always willing to help anyone in need and never hesitated to step in where she was needed. Her kindness, warmth, and servant’s heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Nancy will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend – a woman who loved deeply, gave freely, and lived passionately.
Her memory will live on in countless lives she touched and in the love, she poured into her family and community.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
