CUYAHOGA FALLS - David A. Cain, 76, of Cuyahoga Falls joined his beloved wife, Sandy, in heaven on October 1, 2025.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Scott; his parents, Calvin and Barb, and his brother, Calvin, Jr.

Dave was a proud Army veteran that served in Vietnam. He retired from Ben Venue Laboratories where he worked as an HVAC technician. For those that knew and loved David, we will miss his quick smile, his warm hugs, his chuckle, his sometimes-inappropriate comments, and his invitations for a boat ride or to sit by his campfire.

Those that are left to celebrate his life are his sister-in-law, Sally Dowling; brother-in-law, Henry (Penny) Sweatt; sister-in-law, Millie Sweatt; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; his brothers, Rodney and Randy (Debbie) Cain; his camping family at McDermott’s Campground, and his loyal dog, Roxy.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio 44224.

Burial, with military honors, will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 10:15 AM, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery as part of Wreaths Across America ~ https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/16751/Overview/
