David “Buck” Douglas Caldwell, 65 of Crummies, passed away July 2, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 15, 1958. He was a retired coal miner and he loved doing woodwork and spending time with his grandchildren.
David is preceded in death by his Parents, Ernest and Stella King Caldwell; Brother, Harold Caldwell and Sister, Betty Caldwell.
David is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Melissa Shackleford Caldwell and his Children, Dana Caldwell, Johnathan Caldwell, David Ryan Caldwell, Brittany Shown Caldwell, Bianca Shown Caldwell and Skyler Caldwell; Two Stepsons, Donovan Shown and Jimmy Bailey; Brothers, Robert Caldwell and Ernie Caldwell; Sisters, Eulalah Skidmore, Evelyn Broyles, Freeda Skidmore and June Qualls; Sixteen Grandchildren, One Great Granddaughter and a host of Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation will be Friday July 5, 2024 from 5PM to 8PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 1PM on Saturday July 6, 2024 with Kenny Clem and Franklin Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Day- Jackson Cemetery with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers.
