"I´m so sorry for your loss. I didn´t find out until later, or I would have been there to pay my respects. Dave was a great person, and he will be deeply missed. God bless."

I´m at a loss for words. I worked with Dave at the City for 28 1/2 years, with him as my supervisor for 24 of those years. He was devoted to the City and citizens of Poquoson and his job. Not a day went by without laughter. I have so many fond memories. My prayers are with Hope and the entire family. He will be missed.

Dave was the funniest character of all time at YHS. We shared a class together and how the teacher put up with us and our Shenanigans is beyond me. My heart goes out his family. See u Heaven Dave!

Dave was a first class Virginia gentleman. He was always positive and his attitude was contagious. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Prayers to his loving family.

We are still processing David´s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Hope and family and friends. We always enjoyed running into Hope and David. They laughed easily and were warm in their conversation. David and I talked golf and his introducing it to his son. Hope was always right there with a smile and laughter. Our thoughts and prayers are with Hope and family. Heartfelt. Larry and Pat Boyles

It's very sad to see someone with so much life go so early. Dave always had a way of bringing warmth and laughter when he entered a room. He will be truly missed!

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend Dave, yet I am profoundly grateful for the life he lived and the impact he had on me and my family. He was a true reflection of Christ´s love-his kindness and compassionate spirit touched everyone he met. He never knew a stranger, always welcoming others with warmth and sincerity. His love for God shone through in the way he cared for people, investing time in their lives with genuine interest and a heart full of grace. His devotion to his family was unwavering, and his gentle, humble nature made him so deserving of the love and respect he so freely gave to others. While he left this Earth far too soon and his presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to inspire us. His sense of humor and gift of gab will live on. My thoughts and prayers are with his family,I pray God´s peace and comfort surround them during this difficult time.

I will always remember Dave as a "full of life" guy who could easily bring a smile to your face. Outgoing and positive with a "can do" attitude! He will be missed.

I will always have fond memories of Dave Callis. He had the gift of gab and could always find a way to make me laugh.
