David Michael Campbell

David Michael Campbell, 71, passed away on January 31, 2026, at Journey Home in Dewey, Oklahoma.

David was born on April 9, 1954, in McAlester, Oklahoma, to Bill and Doris Campbell. He grew up in Oklahoma and attended school in Bartlesville, Tulsa, and Clinton. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1972 and later attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

During high school, David was a member of the Clinton High School state champion golf team, a game he enjoyed throughout his life. He loved his horses and found peace in spending time with them. An outdoorsman at heart, David also enjoyed billiards.

David was an exceptionally talented trim carpenter who could build just about anything with his hands. He took great pride in his work, and his craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in everything he created.

Known for being just a little ornery, David brought laughter wherever he went. He marched to the beat of his own drum, kept things interesting, and made sure life was never dull for those around him.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Campbell; his son, Jeremy Campbell; and his grandson, Cash Campbell.

Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Bill Campbell; his son, Adam Jones (Ashley Trimble) of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; his daughter, Lindsey Hoffman and her husband, Jestin, of La Porte City, Iowa; his sisters, Becky Fugett and her husband, Mark, and Susan Wood and her husband, Billy; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his aunt, Helen Carlton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until closing at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Family members will be present to greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in McAlester, Oklahoma.
