Preceded in death by parents Mary Tom and Van Cartwright; and siblings Joe Cartwright, Willie Cooper, and Bessie Hanserd.
Survived by wife Denice; sons, MichaelMichael (Rachel) and Jonas Cartwright; grandchildren Ebony, Angel, Adrian, Samuel, Caleb, and Christian; siblings, Helen Pardue, Nancy Muhammad, Abdur (Cassandra) Hasan, Martha Nixon; and many, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Family visitation Wednesday, November 29, 2023, 11 a.m. to 12 noon, with funeral to follow at Highland Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, 2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville 27207. https://www.highlandhillsfuneralhome.com/
