David G. Catlett

David G. Catlett, 72, of Manhasset, NY, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 26, 2025. Born on May 28, 1953, in Evanston, IL, to the late Martha Jane and George R. Catlett, David was one of four children. David married Stephanie Ernst on December 2, 1995, and they had almost 30 wonderful years together. They share two children, Grace and Gregory, who are twins. David, a twin himself, was over the moon when he found out about the twins and shared many insights to help Grace and Greg navigate life. David was a wonderful husband and father and shared many special experiences and vacations with his wife and children. He was an extremely kind, thoughtful and generous person. David worked for many years at Ketchum Public Relations in New York City, and many people felt he was the best boss they ever had. He was a mentor to many. David is also survived by his brother, Steven Catlett and his twin brother, Laurence (Larry) Catlett, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. His brother Stanley Catlett predeceased him. A celebration of life will be held at the Roslyn Heights funeral home on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 11:00am - 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
