John Travalena Obituary
John, also known as "Pops", is survived by his daughter Breianne, his grandchildren Riley and Frankie and his family who loved him dearly. John had a kind soul and the gift of infectious humor and laughter. John was a doorman in NYC and greeted each tenant and passerby with a smile. John never met a dog he didn't adore and gave a home to many four-legged friends during his lifetime. John is now at peace, joined with his parents Fred and Cathrine, brother Fred, sister Cathrine, and wife Sandy.
Pops will be missed greatly.

My Uncle was the best. The world lost a bit of humor now that he is gone. His humor was contagious. He loved his family and his job. He would never turn down a good pie from John´s on Bleecker.

John was my doorman and friend. One of the funniest and sweetest people i've known . I've missed him since he retired and more now. Sorry for your loss, our loss.
