David Michael Chambers, a cherished son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. He was born on September 28, 1960, in Ft. Gordon, Georgia.
A graveside service will be held at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Benny Moore officiating.
David grew up in a loving family. He is survived by his loving mother, Ida Margaret Chambers of Rhine; his brothers, Gregory Mark Chambers (Isabella) of Talking Rock, Young Daniel Chambers (Bridget) of Warner Robins, and William Max Chambers, III (Deborah June) of Cullman, Alabama. His life was further enriched by the love and laughter of his granddaughters, Addyson Grace Carroll and CJ Horton.
David spent many years as a welder at Husqvarna.
While David's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, his legacy is carried on through his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughters, Kimberly Sullivan and Kandi Chambers, and his father, William Max Chambers, Jr. Their memories remain a guiding light for the Chambers family.
David's journey on this earth has ended, but his story will continue to be told through the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
