Of Appleton, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. He was born in Clintonville on September 14, 1936 to the late Claude and Beulah (Holmes) Chandler. On October 19, 1957 he married Dorothy Krenke. Dave served in the National Guard and was called to service in 1961, serving one year in active duty. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He helped to build Celebration Church and was a boy scout leader. Dave enjoyed traveling and was able to visit all 50 states. He lived and wintered in Port Aransas, Texas for many years. He liked remodeling and loved watching and cheering on the Packers.

He will be dearly missed by his wife: of 67 years, Dorothy; children: Tammi (Paul) Rooyakkers; Jodi (Bruce) Smith; Terry (Anita) Chandler; grandchildren: Andy (Jennifer), Kimberly (Matt), Rachel, Jason, Melonnie, Christopher, Benjamin, Zachary and Isabelle; 8 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Karri and brother, Terry.

The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church Celebration Site, 3100 E. Evergreen Dr. The visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Samaritan's Purse.
