David Chase Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 19, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Patrick Chase, who departed this life peacefully on December 17, 2025-just shy of his 68th birthday. He lost his battle with Metastatic Squamous Carcinoma with an unknown primary. Born on December 20, 1957, in East Cleveland, Ohio, to Donn and Ruth Chase. David was a beloved husband, father, and friend whose warmth and perseverance left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Earning an Associate's Degree, from Fortis College he dedicated his career to the manufacturing industry, serving as a Maintenance Mechanic at Alsides. His commitment to his work was evident in his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering work ethic.

David is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Chase, and his two daughters, Sarah and Rebecca Chase; his sister, Marcie Yonker, and her husband Jerry Yonker; and his two dogs, Nadja and Laszlo.

David is preceded in death by his mother Ruth Woodliff, and his brothers, Denny, Rick, and Dann Chase.

He was deeply devoted to his family, finding joy in the little moments spent together, whether on family outings such as ghost hunting with his daughter Sarah, or quiet evenings at home with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. David's kindness, humor, and gentle spirit will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

There will be no services, though Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home on Kent Rd. in Stow, Ohio has been entrusted with his cremation.

In this time of reflection, we encourage all to remember David not just for the time we had with him, but for the lasting impact he made in the lives of those around him. Further details regarding the memorial services will be forthcoming, with a focus on ensuring his memory is cherished and his legacy carried forward.

Rest in peace, David. Your spirit will forever be in our hearts.
