David Eugene Choate

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Eugene Choate, age 75, of Rockwall, Texas. David was born in Dallas, Texas, on March 13, 1951, and departed this world from Rowlett, Texas, on March 25, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

A public time of visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home, located at 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX, 75087.

A funeral service to honor the life of David will take place the following day, Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM, also in Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home, with Pastor Nick Lloyd officiating.

Interment will follow immediately after conclusion of the chapel service at Rest Haven Memorial Park in the Garden: Hillside North, located on site, where Military Honors will be rendered, in remembrance of David and his service to his country.

Independent florists are kindly asked to deliver floral arrangements directly to Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in order for them to be set out and properly displayed for David's visitation in a timely manner.
