Born in Timis, Romania, on December 18, 1955, Aurel's life was marked by unwavering faith, profound love for his family, and a deep sense of wisdom that radiated to all who knew him.

Aurel's journey led him to a life of service and craftsmanship. After completing trade school, he became a skilled machinist, a vocation that he dedicated himself to with passion and precision. He found his professional calling at GE, where he worked diligently for twenty-nine years, contributing to power generation systems including nuclear, hydro, and electric. His colleagues knew him as the lead operator who not only set the standard for excellence but also took the time to mentor and inspire those around him.

Beyond his professional life, Aurel was an ordained pastor who shared the love of Christ with everyone he met. His faith was the cornerstone of his existence, guiding him as he and his wife, Lidia, raised their eight children: Daniel, Adelina, Beni, Maria, Ema, Esti, Aurel Jr., and David. The wisdom he imparted to his children and the love he showered upon them have left an indelible mark on their hearts.
