Diane Xavier, a devoted daughter, loving sister, and passionate sports journalist, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning eve of Tuesday March 3rd,2026 surrounded by God's grace. She was 45 years old.

Born with a deep love for her family and a steadfast faith in God, Diane lived a life guided by her Catholic beliefs. She shared a special bond with her sisters and was devoted to nurturing the relationships that mattered most. Diane found joy in her family, her faith, and in serving others through her career and community.

A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Journalism, Diane had a distinguished career in sports media. She worked for major networks including Fox Sports, ABC, and CBS, and also contributed to radio stations such as 106.1 Kiss FM Dallas Examiner, and Guadalupe Catholic Radio Network. Diane was known for her skillful reporting, insightful writing, and her ability to connect with athletes, celebrities, and audiences alike.

Throughout her life, Diane courageously faced challenges including manic bipolar disorder II, diabetes, and in the end Stage 5 Renal Failure/dialysis. Despite these struggles, she pursued her career with dedication, relied on her faith for strength, and inspired those around her with her resilience. Her journey reflected both her determination and the love and support of her family, who stood by her side through every trial.

Diane's legacy will be remembered through her work, her faith, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She is now at peace in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ, reunited with her mother and grandmother in heaven.

Diane is survived by her father, Xavier Perumbilly and her sisters, Celene Xavier and Jasmine Xavier. She was cherished by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the communities she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for prayers for Diane's soul and for strength and comfort for her loved ones.
