David Boya Cody Sr.

David Boya Cody Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at his home in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 56. He was born on June 12, 1969, in Osceola, Arkansas to AB Cody Sr. and Flora Jean Hendrix. He is preceded in death by his parents. David is survived by his wife Shonna Cody, one son David Boya Cody Jr., two daughters LaShona Rena Cody and Donna Michelle Cody, twenty-six siblings Frankie Cody, Bobbie (Eddie) Robinson, Cora Johnson, Lisa Wright, Keyisha Cody, Diann (Curtis) Williams, Arnette (Cedric) Wheeler, Crystal (Vincent) Webb, Garry Hendrix, Bobby Frazier, Michelle Turner, Jamie (Charles) Saunders, Patricia Love, Rosalinda Love, Donald (Loretta) Brooks, Nita Cody, Darrell Baker, Sedrick Brooks, Thomas Cooper, Mario Gibson, Charles Vance, Antonio Vance, Dewayne Vance, Ket Vance, Joe Davis and Erica (Carl) Williams, several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1:00p.m. until service time, at Bethlehem MB Church in Osceola, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 2:00p.m. at Bethlehem MB Church in Osceola, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas.
