David BradLee Collins

David BradLee Collins, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 23, 2025.

He was born in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Gary and Bonnie Golden Collins.

David owned a successful landscaping company and always thought of his clients as family. He also was employed at UPS as an unloader and cherished the friendships that he developed during his 19 years of service. His greatest love was his sons, Jackson and Conrad. He loved spending time with his sons whether they were playing video games or canoeing down the New River. In his spare time, he had a love of gardening and golf. During the Masters, you could always find him in his recliner except for that one time that he got to live out his dream and attend the tournament. If you knew David, you knew his goal every year was to have the best garden and tallest sunflowers around.

Surviving are his wife, Samantha Collins; two sons, Jackson and Conrad Collins; brother, Andy Collins (Shannon); two nephews, Justin and Gray Collins; niece, Avery Collins and his aunt, Carolyn Collins Simmons.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 30, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Pastor Will Toburen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
