David Conley Obituary

David Joseph Conley, 60, of Millcreek, passed away Tuesday October 28, 2025. He was born in Erie on April 17, 1965 a son of the late Raymond D. and Otellia "Tillie" Heuberger Conley.
David graduated from Mercyhurst Prep in 1983 and went on to earn his B.S. in Business Economics from Penn State Behrend. He worked as a supervisor with GTE/Verizon for 15 years and most recently worked as an auditor with Erie Insurance for the past 20 years. He loved live music of all kinds, especially watching his son's Rock Band Academy performances. His happy place was his backyard with his Golden Retriever, a glass of Pinot, and Yacht Rock on the radio.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Annette Mokwa Conley; his son, Aiden David Conley, at home; one sister, Patricia Conley, of Erie; two brothers, James Conley (Nancy Spoor) of Silver Springs, MD and John Conley (Bonnie) of Waterford; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Thursday October 30th from 3 to 7 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Erie Cancer Wellness Center,http://www.eriecancerwellness.org or the Anna Shelter, www.theannashelter.com

I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Dave at GTE/VERIZON. His laugh, kindness never disappeared. One of the supervisors I know. Always willing to help. Great guy gone too soon. I was glad to call him my friend

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Dave. I worked with him years ago at ERIE. He was a great guy. We swapped stories about our pets, specifically his mischievous Golden. He always spoke highly of his wife Michelle and son Aiden. Thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
