Dave was a great friend and inspiration to me. He taught me a lot not only about the work we did but also about relationships with our clients, realtors, and other people we encountered. We had a great a great ten years working together as handymen. He had a fantastic memory of where people lived and what work we did for them, but also what kind of dog they had. However, a few times he rang the doorbell of a wrong home. His ability to fabricate missing or broken parts amazed me. He was never reluctant to take on a job that seemed overwhelming or impossible (unless it involved computers or electronics). I will miss him for a time, but even though he ran the race and reached the goal ahead of me I look forward to fellowshipping with him again in heaven.
