David William Cowper, of Trenton, passed away May 24, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Elaine Cowper. Loving dad of Roxann (the late Tom), David (Denise), and Lenise (Rodney). Cherished grandpa of Jason, Michele, Phil, Marissa, Tori, Steve, Chris, Angelica, Emily, the late Zachary, Brooke, Justin, Nikki, the late Grant, Collin, and Jordan. Proud great grandpa of Nathan, Jacob, Tate, Audrianna, Elenor, Brella, Levi, Luca, and Lizzy. Dear brother of the late Richard, Esther, Ruth, Herb, and Carol.
David was a talented bee keeper, wine maker, gardener, and was a master welder. He was a great horseshoe player, often known as “The Ringer”, he and his friends built the horseshoe pits on Westfield. He was a devoted caretaker of Elaine. In the last few years of his life, he enjoyed chicken foot dominos, bingo, and was very active in the activities in his senior living community. In the summertime he would be on his front porch of his house on Grange Road, where he welcomed everyone and thought of everyone as a friend. He loved to play Euchre and he loved old country music, especially Willie’s Roadhouse. Family was everything to David and he left a beautiful legacy.
