David grew up attending St. Matthews Elementary and graduated from Conrad Highschool in 1977. His passion for cars drove him towards a career at the Chrysler Plant in Newark, Delaware, and working for Chrome Deposits.
With a love for cars, trains, and the great outdoors, David spent his free time building model cars and trains and spending time in nature, hunting and fishing. He loved creating and tinkering with carpentry and experimenting with different styles of music.
David is predeceased by his daughter, Shannon Cross, and his sister, Ann Bukowski.
He is survived by his brothers, Harry Cross (of Wilmington) and John Cross (of Phoenix); he is survived by his son, David T. Cross (Newark, DE).
A mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Matthews Catholic Church (901 E. Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE) on March 2nd at 11AM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, David's family is kindly asking for donations to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
