Dawn Ann Breyer

Dawn Ann Breyer, age 57, of Boothwyn, PA passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026.

She was born in Charlotte, NC and raised in Wallingford, PA. Dawn was the daughter of the late Kay M. (Laverick) and Walter H. Breyer. She graduated from Strath Haven High School and later received a bachelor's degree in finance/marketing from Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA.

Dawn worked as an IT Project Manager for hospitals including Fitzgerald Mercy, University of Pennsylvania and over the last 20 years, for Christiana Care Health Systems in Delaware.

She was an avid Eagles, Flyers and Phillies fan. Dawn enjoyed attending rock concerts, riding her purple Harley Davidson Sportster, reading and was a cat lover. She collected hippos, music and sports memorabilia and had a deep love for everything purple.

Dawn will be remembered as someone who could make friends anywhere, her positive outlook, speaking her mind freely and for living her life to the fullest despite her health issues over the years. Her circle of friends was extensive, and some were labeled as "her favorite people on the planet". Dawn would want everyone to remember her having a good time and smiling. She would also want us to share stories of her and in doing so, this will keep her memory alive and close to our hearts.

She is survived by her loving and devoted partner, Al Pinelli; her sisters, Penny Blackwell (James) and Wendy Breyer (Bobby Ryan); her nephew, Matthew Blackwell and many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.

A gathering and celebration of life will be held at the Claymont Fire Hall, 3223 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE on March 7th from 12-4pm. For ticket information contact Vicki at vmcdevitt77@gmail.com. Tickets are limited.
