David Cuce, 45, passed away suddenly, surrounded by his loving family.
Dave proudly served the New York City Police Department for 24 years, where he rose through the ranks to the position of Lieutenant. He began his distinguished career at the 72nd Precinct, later serving at the 7th Precinct and in the Intelligence Bureau after being promoted to Sergeant. He mentored and guided many throughout their careers and was deeply respected by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Dave had an unmatched passion for his work, always getting the job done and doing it the right way.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dave's greatest pride and joy was his family. His most cherished role was being a devoted husband and loving father. He loved coaching his son's football team and cheering on his daughter at cheerleading. His sense of humor, warmth, and energy made him the heart of his home and the light of every room he entered.
