It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David "Dave" Michael Neu, who left us peacefully on February 27, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on January 22, 1966, in Scranton, PA, Dave was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He spent his life dedicated to his family and his work.
Dave proudly served in the Navy from July 1985 to July 1989, achieving the rank of Quartermaster Third Class (QM3). He later worked as a technician in the security industry with Securitas, where he made many lasting friendships.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Neu and Fern Ranocchia Neu.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Neu; his son, David Neu Jr., and daughter-in-law, Shelley Morris; his stepchildren, Dustin Green, Taylor Green (Tashia), Chelsea Kelly (Christopher); his sister, Kim Deane (Christian); and his cherished grandchildren: Kinsley Campbell, James Green, Emma McClendon, Jacob Kelly, and Avery Kelly. David also leaves behind his nephews, Daniel and Matthew Deane, and his niece, McKenzie Deane, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dave's life. A visitation will be held on March 7, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass in his honor will take place at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Fr. Richard Childress presiding. Following the Mass, Dave will be laid to rest with military honors at the Middle Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery in Nashville, TN on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
Dave was a passionate man who loved his family fiercely. He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and sense of humor. We invite you to join us as we honor his memory and reflect on the many wonderful moments we shared with him.
