David Dehler Obituary
In addition to his father, he was also predeceased by a son, Avery Dehler.
David was a loving husband, son, daddy and granddaddy. He loved fishing, cooking and secretly loved baking. In his spare time, he loved repairing anything from cars to lawnmowers. His family was his heart and loved them all, along with his dog, Chip. He was a bonus Dad to many.
David retired as a police officer from the Linden, New Jersey Police Department, after serving 27 years. He also worked as a school resource officer at Green Sea Elementary School for six years, where all the children loved him very much.
Mr. Dehler is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Jean Hammer Dehler; one son, Jaxon Dehler; two daughters, Abigail Dehler and Sarah Dehler; three grandchildren, Nyomi Inman, Christian Inman and Cohen Inman and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
There will be no services held at this time.
