David DelRio Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home - Coushatta on Jan. 2, 2026.
Services for David Patrick DelRio, age 53, of Bossier City, La will be 2:30 PM Sunday, January 4, 2026 at First Bossier Chapel, Bossier City with Pastor Brad Jurkovich officiating.

David finished his earthly journey December 31, 2025, at Willis Knighton hospital in Shreveport and entered the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ.

David was a member of First Baptist Bossier. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Bill Harrison. Survivors include his wife, Amanda DelRio; his two children, Dawson Jagger DelRio and Presley Brooke DelRio; mother, Rebecca Brady; father, David Ellis DelRio; mother-in-law Mary Lou Harrsion; two brothers Jason DelRio and wife Lori DelRio, Rodney Austin and wife April Austin; sister Robin Hitt and husband Tim Hitt; brother in law Jeffrey Harrison and wife Lindsey Harrison; sister in law Lori Willhite and husband Jason Willhite; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Surrounded by family, David passed peacefully, without fear and without pain. Scripture was spoken boldly over him, affirming the faith that carried him throughout his life and into eternity. We give thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness and for prayers answered according to His perfect will.

"Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord."

- Matthew 25:23

David was known for his ability to connect with anyone and his unmistakable love for Jesus, his family and his music. He lived fully, loved deeply, and left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His life reflected a generous heart and a faith that remained steadfast, even in the face of suffering.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."

- 2 Corinthians 5:8

We rest in the assurance that David is whole, healed, and rejoicing-now fully home.
