Nancy Cason

Funeral services for Nancy Cason, 95, of Coushatta, LA will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, March 2, 2026, at Calvary Journey Church with Bro. James Nailes officiating and Alvin Keith assisting. Interment will follow in Thomas-Wren Cemetery with prayer led by Mackenzie "Lindsey" Harper. Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until service time on Monday at Calvary Journey Church. Services under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cason was born January 20, 1931, and entered Heaven February 26, 2026.

God was always first in her life then her family. She loved her children and all she ever wanted was for them to be happy. Each night she would call each one by name in prayer. She loved working outside with her flowers. You never went to her house without sitting around the table drinking coffee or her trying to fix you a meal and when you left, she would always stand on the porch and wave saying "y'all come back; I love y'all."

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Cason; children, James Russell, Charles Leon, David, Vickey Longino, and Buster; along with all her brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Cason is survived by children, Lenita Dickson and husband, Mack, Lorrie Ann Keith and husband, Clark, Joey Cason and wife, Carol, Kenneth Cason and wife, Ashley; son-in-law, Tony Longino; daughter-in-law, Kathy Cason; grandkids: Jimmy Dickson, Jo Harper, Anthony Longino, Holly Longino, Heather Sturgeon, Lil Ken Cason, Lil Joey Cason, Stella Midkiff and Jessie Cason; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ayden Moseley, Lil Joey Cason, Lil Ken Cason, Jacob Harper, Steven Dickson, Caleb Waters, and Landon Sturgeon. Honorary pallbearers will be Brenden (Bubba) Cason, Anthony Longino, Big Jimmy Dickson, Lil Jimmy Dickson, Justin Harper, Layne Cason, and Dr. Wyche Coleman.

The family would like to thank Dr. Wyche Coleman for his care and kindness throughout the years and a special thanks to Calvary Journey Assembly of God Church for their love and kindness shown to us.
