David went into the loving my arms of our Glorious Father on Oct. 25th 2023.
He was a deeply devoted, loving husband and father. He was rich in faith, kindness, laughs and a genuinely caring soul. He never met a stranger and would do any and everything he could to help all he came in contact with.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Edwards; his uncle, Clark Edwards; his father, Dennis Dickerson; his step-father, Doug Herd and his Nana Millie Reid.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Dickerson; his son, Devin James; his daughter, Lillian Mae; and his bonus daughters and son Ashley, Zipporah, & RJ Lincoln. As well as his bonus granddaughters, Cynthia and Harmony Lincoln. His grandmother, Esther Edwards; his mother, Donna Edwards Herd; his sister, Michelle Wolf, husband Erik Wolf; and his niece, Alora and nephews Brendan, Grayson, and Dillon; his brother, Jason and niece, Makayla Dickerson.
After high school he enlisted in the US Navy and went on to become an electrician and linemen. After a serious injury he battled CRPS for almost a decade and never let his pain get the best of him.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, and kayaking with his family and friends as well as volunteer coaching and traveling to the beaches and mountains when his health would allow.
He fought a tremendous battle with his health and endured a fire that most could not. His spirit, resolve and heart were still strong but his body could just no longer endure.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CRPS Warriors Foundation
