David M. Dickerson, 62, of Waco, TX, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025. A visitation with family and friends will be from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
David was born in Waco, TX, to Jerry Mack and Johnne Lea (Parker) Dickerson. He worked at Dickerson Automatic Fire Protection, working alongside his family. David was also the proud owner of MJ Smoke Shop. He loved conversation and was happiest when he was around people. David lived a simple and peaceful life and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He especially loved fishing and camping and taking long drives on the back roads listening to music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Johnne Dickerson; his grandparents, Martin and Marie Dickerson, and John and Layne Parker.
David is survived by his brother, Jerry Dickerson and wife Regina; sister, Mary Weiss and James Ledbetter, brother, Doug Dickerson and wife Lisa; his wife, Charli and her children; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Larry and Andrew Reid, Alex Rivera and James Ledbetter for their unwavering friendship and care.
