Erwin Cleo Dickerson

  Erwin Cleo Dickerson, age 82, passed from this life to his Heavenly Home on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Weatherford, Texas. Erwin was born on April 25, 1943, in Weatherford, Texas, to Frances Dickerson and Mary Yeary Dickerson. Erwin was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Weatherford. He retired after 30 years from Lockheed Martin. Erwin enjoyed fishing, watching westerns on TV, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandkids!

  Erwin is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sherry; his son, Bret Dickerson of Weatherford, Texas; his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Krissy Dickerson of Weatherford, Texas; his grandchildren: Max, Marianna, Milly, and Lilly Dickerson of Weatherford, Texas; Bret, Jr. and Brooklyn Dickerson; and Wes Elders; and his great grandchildren, Katherine Dickerson and Santiago Ramos. He also has several adopted “grandkids” who held a spot in his heart: Isaiah, Isaac, and Ian Vallejo; and Lexi Heiser. He also is survived by his sister, Patsy Peppers and husband, Charles.

  Erwin was preceded in death by his father, Frances Dickerson; mother, Mary Bradberry and step father, Brad; brother, Delbert Dickerson; sisters, Billy Yates and Linda Banks; and son, Brian Dickerson.

  A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 1311 East Bankhead Hwy, Weatherford, Texas 76086, with interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Victory Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
