David Allen Dillett August 2, 1963 - February 2, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Allen Dillett, who departed this world on February 2, 2024, at the age of 60. A cherished son of Thomas J Dillett, and his stepmother, Mary Jo Dillett. He will be especially missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, step-brothers, and a step-sister.

David was born on August 2, 1963, which marked the beginning of a life filled with passion, joy, and unforgettable moments. He will be dearly missed, especially by his lifelong friends, Kevin and Gavin Warlow, who shared a bond that transcended time and stood strong since their grade school days. The memories they created together were a testament to the enduring power of friendship.

Among Dave's many talents and ambitions was his love for creative writing. He shared it whenever he could by writing comments and posts on social media as well as having plans of submitting his story writing work to various publishing firms.

In his professional life, Dave found purpose and fulfillment at MacroMatic, Waukesha, where he dedicated himself to his work with unwavering commitment. His colleagues remember him as a diligent and reliable team member, always approaching his responsibilities with a sense of duty and pride. His dedication left a lasting impact on those around him.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dave had a deep passion for heavy metal rock music that resonated through his soul. Along with his friend, Kevin, and others, he produced, filmed, edited, and prepared for the release, of a widely acclaimed Wisconsin rock music documentary video. It was a project that took over 2 years to complete and now will be released soon as a loving tribute to David.

Whether attending concerts with friends or simply enjoying the powerful beats in solitude, his love for the genre was infectious. Horror movies held a special place in his heart, and he found joy in the thrilling and chilling tales that captivated his imagination.

Among his many interests, Dave had a unique talent for building intricate Lego models. The patience and creativity he poured into each project were a reflection of his meticulous nature and love for craftsmanship. His creations stand as enduring symbols of his ability to turn simple blocks into works of art.

David Allen Dillett is survived and will be profoundly missed by his family, his friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of sharing in his passions and joys.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of David Dillett will be announced soon.

May the memories of David Allen Dillett bring solace and comfort during this difficult time, and may his spirit live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
