David Dockendorf Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 27, 2010.
On the beautiful fall afternoon of September 27, 2010, Dave returned home to his loving Heavenly Father. Dave was born on March 15, 1976 to Thomas and Nancy Dockendorf in SLC Utah. He married the love of his life and best friend, Cambridge Elyse Johnson, on December 28th, 2001. Dave loved being a dad to his beautiful princess Morgan Kathleen Dockendorf. Nothing brought him more happiness then spending time with his wife and little girl. Dave’s big heart was one of his best qualities. He was a true and loyal friend who would do ANYTHING to help someone in need. Dave was well known for his teasing, fun- loving personality and loved making people laugh. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. We will miss his smile, his hugs and his unconditional love. Dave leaves behind a huge group of family and many friends who will miss him dearly, including his parents, Thomas and Nancy Dockendorf; wife, Cambridge Elyse Johnson; daughter, Morgan Kathleen Dockendorf; 6 sisters: Amy (Rob) Allphin, Lisa (Jeff) Bezzant, Ann (Eric) Jacklin, Kelly (Brandt) Sharp, Tricia (Marc) Crosby, Laurie (Teejay) Millar; and 2 brothers: Jeffrey (Jen) Dockendorf, and Michael Dockendorf. He is also survived by his in-laws Larry and Kathleen Johnson, and 30 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 1 pm in the Canyon View 3rd Ward Chapel, 762 East 1200 North, Orem. Friends may call at the ward building on Friday evening 6 til 8 pm or Saturday 1 hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends and family may donate at any Key Bank under the name of David Dockendorf.
