David Dolby Obituary

David Eugene Dolby, 62, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Brookville on June 24, 1963, the son of Bertha Belle (Bush) Dolby-Fox of Punxs-
utawney and the late Donald Eugene Dolby.
David was a man who found joy in working outdoors.
Whether he was gardening, tending to his mother's flower beds or spending time hunting, he felt most at peace surrounded by nature.
In his quieter moments, he relaxed with a good word find, watching wrestling matches and classic westerns on television.
His days were filled with both hard work and hobbies he cher-
ished most.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, Glenn (Linda) Fox, Sr. of Strattanville; two sisters, Donna Slater of Mount Pleasant and Nellie Dehner of Punxsutawney and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
