Lynn, MA - David A. Domey, age 89, of Lynn, died on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at North Shore Medical Center, Salem Hospital, following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Helen (Pickering) Domey with whom he shared over 64 years of marriage. Born in Lynn, in 1933, he was the son of the late David E. and

Louise P. (Webber) Domey. He was raised and educated in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1952.

David was enlisted in the US Army from 1953-1961 and served his country in Korea. He was a lifetime member of the Elks serving as exalted ruler 5 times over the course of many years. His wife and family were his number one passion in life, to that point his favorite quote was "Happy wife, Happy life"

In addition to his wife Helen, David is survived by his loving daughters, Jeanette Hewitt of Lynn and Patricia Mallett and her husband Stephen of Concord, NH; his grandson Daniel R. Hewitt and his wife Catherine of Lynn; his brother Kenneth E. Domey and his wife Joanne of Titusville, Florida; his sister Ann Marie Allen and her husband Stan of Minot, Maine and his many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Frances L. Domey.

Service Information: A Funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), Lynn at 5p.m. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 2-5p.m., prior to the Funeral Service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
