David Drumheller Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by James A. Dyal Funeral Home on Apr. 12, 2023.
Mr. David Allen Drumheller of Bowman, SC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, April 10th, 2023.
Born September 20th, 1953, in Pottstown, PA, David grew up and was a two-sport athlete at Pottstown Senior High School as a First Team All-League Linebacker, and a District Champion Wrestler for the Trojans. He later enrolled at Clemson University, where he received his Master of Science Degree in Zoology, in December of 1979.
David married Angela Gayle Elliott on June 17th, 1978, and they celebrated nearly 45 years of marriage. He was a loving husband, a caring father and grandfather, avid outdoorsman, passionate Tigers fan, lover of music, and most importantly a faithful believer in the Lord Jesus. David was a devout member of Summerville Bible Fellowship where he served the Lord for many years. Throughout his life he pursued his passion for reptiles. He would often show up with a random critter, and it was never a surprise to see him pulling over to rescue another. He was always known for the unusual pets that he kept. This passion for nature is something he passed on to his children, his nephews, and many others.
David is survived by his Wife Gayle, his Daughter Elizabeth Gray (Harold), and his two Sons, David Drumheller, (Kaysie) and Thomas Drumheller (Courtney). He also leaves his legacy to 6 grandchildren, Madelyn, Lizah, Sawyer, Micah, Verity and one soon to arrive.
While family and friends mourn our earthly loss, we rejoice in the assurance that David is with the Lord Jesus in Glory, awaiting the coming of his family, and the body of Christ as a whole.
"In Lieu of Flowers", the family ask for memorials to be made to the following:
Christian Missions and many lands
Samaritan's Purse
Gideon Bible
