David Duhe was a friend of mine, having met him several years ago at the Louisiana War Veteran's Home in Reserve. We sat together at the Bingo table many times. I could never get enough of the stories he shared about some tense moments on the battlefield. A true hero, he disarmed you with that automatic smile when he would see you. He was always happy and in a good mood. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
