David Wayne Durham, 60, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

David was born July 22, 1964, at Womack Army Hospital to the late Margie Durham and Marvin Lee Durham.  David grew up in College Lakes and attended Pine Forest Senior High where he graduated in 1982.  He went to work with Atlantic Fire Systems, which eventually became BFPE International, where he was still employed.

David turned his love of yard work into a side business of landscaping.  He was an avid fisherman, loved watching sports, and spending time with his family.  He loved people and always had jokes to share.

A service to celebrate David's life will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 3 pm in Sullivan's Highland Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Margie and Marvin, and his sisters, Teresa Harris and Phyllis Durham.

He is survived by his life partner, Dora Cox; his twin sister, Mildred Durham of Fayetteville; brother, Robert Marvin Durham and wife, Jane Durham, of Fayetteville; brother-in-law, John Harris; three nieces, Jennifer Singletary, April Rhodes, and Heather Parker; two nephews, Tyler Cauthen and Johnny Ramsey; his entire BFPE family; and his beloved pets, Peaches, Angel, Onyia, Daisy Mae, and Bella.
