David Esken

David Esken, 59, of Finleyville, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, in UPMC Montefiore Hospital. He was born August 13, 1965, in Pittsburgh, a son of Gene Esken and the late Viola Cypher Uchnar. Dave was employed by Hose Source in Bentleyville where he worked as a salesman. He enjoyed camping, quadding, NASCAR, his woodshop but most importantly spending time with his grandchildren. He leaves a crew behind which includes his devoted wife Jill Esken, his girls: daughter Laura (Al) Taylor, stepdaughters; Jessi Criss, Chelsey (Bryan) Criss and Katie (Randy) Criss; beloved grandchildren; Fia, Ruby, Oni, Dayce, Bryan, Tyler, Ty, Tatum and Zoe, McKenzie; three brothers; one sister; his extended family at UPMC Montefiore and last but not least his four legged children Odis, Georgi and his sidekick, his protector Sven. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville. Funeral Services will begin at 11a.m. Wednesday at Crossroads Ministries, 81 Walter Long Road, Finleyville. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.
