David S. Esparza passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, surrounded by warmth and love. He was born on April 26,1946, at his family's home. He was 78 years old and survived by his children Ernest Panatex, Mike Panatex (spouse Renee), Gina Guerrero (spouse Gavino), Jeanette Ramirez (spouse Cisco), and Davette Esparza. Also survived by his siblings Roberto Esparza, Ricardo Esparza, Eva Barrientes, Alicia Sendejo, and 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He started working construction at the age of 16. He was quickly promoted and became the company's youngest superintendent at the age of 18. At age 21, he married Hortensia Gutierrez on May 27, 1967, and helped raise her three children, Yolanda age 11, Ernest age 9 and Mike age 6. David and Hortensia had three additional children, Gina, Jeanette, and Davette. David was a business owner most of his life. He later retired to enjoy life with his companion, Estella Esparza. He treasured the beautiful memories he created in his 78 years on earth. He frequently stated, "I have lived a good life." He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed keeping up with The University of Texas. Most precious to David was his faith in God and his family. He will be missed tremendously. David was preceded in death by his first wife, Hortensia G. Esparza and daughter, Yolanda P. Sanchez.
