David Estrada

David Estrada, born on August 1, 1959, in Chihuahua/Abram, Texas, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 66.David was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Estefana Rosas Estrada and Octavio Estrada, and his brother, Ruben Estrada.David later made his home in Abram, Texas, where he built a life rooted in family, hard work, and the passions he held close to his heart. He was a kind-hearted man with a joyful spirit, whose presence brought warmth to everyone he met. David was especially known for his deep love of horses. Riding, training, and working with them was not just a hobby, but a defining part of his life. As an amazing jockey, he left a lasting impression on all who knew him. David is survived by his beloved children: Diana Estrada, David Estrada, Leeanna Estrada, Breanna Estrada, and Oscar Estrada. He was a proud grandfather to Jaime David Zamora, Ruben Reynaldo Zamora, Damien Marcus Aguilar, Annalee Treviño, Kaylee Treviño, Rene Treviño Jr., Brandon Lopez, Ethen Garza, and Dianna Garza, each of whom brought him immense joy.He is also survived by his siblings: Jose Luis Ochoa, Estela Hernandez, Octavio Estrada Jr., Willie Estrada, Desiderio Estrada, Melva Faulkner, Noe Estrada, and Gracie Estrada.

David's legacy is one of love, joy, and authenticity. His laughter, wisdom, and gentle heart will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the family he loved so dearly.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025

David will be taken to St. Mary Magdalene Church in Abram at 12:00 p.m. Following the church service, we will proceed together from the church to Abram Cemetery for his burial.
