David (Abe) Ewing, 84, passed away on July 5, 2024. He was born in Nashville on February 12, 1940, to the late Arthur David and Grace Reed Ewing. A graduate of Bellevue High School, Abe proudly served his country in the United States Army for two years followed by four years in the Army National Guard. Following his service, he worked for the Ford glass plant in west Nashville where he retired after 39 years of service. Abe was a member of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and would spend much of his time meticulously tending to it.
In addition to his parents, Abe was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 61 years, Judy; and son, Mark.
The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 7:00PM on Monday, July 8, 2024, at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. A graveside service will be held at 12:30PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
