Dear Shelly, Steven, Lori, Brian and families,
My deepest condolences to all of you on the loss of an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
This was my first Jewish service, and it did not disappoint. It was truly a well-deserved and heartfelt tribute to a warm, kind, gentle, and good-natured man that David was to so many family and friends who knew and loved him.
I have been blessed to know David since the mid-70's when I first started working for him and Marcy. David was easy to work for and a great mentor. After I left court reporting, we reconnected once again later in life and have had many reunions with our original little group. It was always a pleasure to see him and Shelly. I will keep his family in my prayers, as I know he will be missed beyond measure. Rest easy, my friend.
Very fondly,
Gail Zuley

Dear Shelly and Family,
It is hard to believe that I first met David in 1975 when I was a brand-new court reporter at the age of 19 and I decided to work with him and Marcy right out of court reporting school. I worked with David for 15 years before I decided to work as an Official Court Reporter for the State. I am positive that I would not have been prepared for that job had I not been taught and mentored by David for those 15 years. He was the kindest, gentlest, and most even-keeled person I have ever known. I am blessed to have worked for him for those years, and I am doubly blessed to have called him my dear friend for 49 years. I will always love him dearly and miss him profoundly.

David was a very sweet and kind gentleman. I took a few court reporting assignments from him and I was able to meet him once at the wake of his dear friend and colleague, Eunice Sachs. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and I would like to extend my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

My dearest friend "Dovid"; the gentlest person who never spoke against another. He knew everyone. We spent our High School days together, got married within a month of each other, and had our first sons within days of each other. our 70 years of friendship never waned. He never forgot my Birthday, and his was the easiest to remember. We were family.

David, my friend, business associate, mentor, big brother...
I could go on and on. You have been one of the most important people in my life.
From the first time we met, taking default cases in divorce court, to our going for a Tab after a case (before Diet Coke was invented), to our becoming "office mates" in 1968, we have shared joys and sorrows for the past 56 years. But for me, writing this message is a sorrow that I have to bear without you.
I will miss you more than you can imagine, my dear, dear friend, but memories of our friendship will always warm my heart.
With much love,
Marcy
