SORRENTO, FL - David Roy Fleeman, age 73 of Sorrento, Florida, passed away July 24, 2025. David was born June 3, 1952 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late William and Elsie Fleeman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Sallie, Faye Smith, and brother, Paul Fleeman.

David was a horse enthusiast and spent many years showing and training them. He also enjoyed saltwater fishing and liked visiting Captiva Island, FL. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 47 years, Sheila Fleeman; son, Gregory Fleeman; sisters, Ann Redden, Thelma Thornhill, Alice Hayworth, Sharon Stapleton; brothers, Enoch Fleeman, Elijah Fleeman, Norman Fleeman, Jackie Fleeman; brother-in-law, Clarence Laws; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Fleeman Family Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
